DATA COLLECTION & PROTECTION
No personal information is collected via this Website (e.g. name, address, email address, telephone number, etc.). Moreover, Finsight does not use tracking technology (e.g. cookies) to collect such information.
In using this Website, you expressly agree that, notwithstanding all precautions in place, the Internet network does not constitute a fully secure means of communication of information and that you use the Internet at your sole and own risk.
FinSight SA is subject to the provisions of the Swiss Data Protection Law (LPD) when processing personal data. The Data Protection Officer of the company can be reached at: contact@finsight.ch.
In the context of new, ongoing or previous contractual relationships (mandates), we collect personal data such as:
- Name, postal address, country of residence, e-mail address, telephone number, place and date of birth, nationality, signature, identity document.
- Professional background, family links, marital status, Tax Identification.
- Risk capacity and risk tolerance assessments as well as investment objectives.
- Instructions pertaining to transfers of funds or trading of securities which FinSight would initiate on the behalf of clients and transmit to custodian banks for execution.
The purpose of collecting personal data arises from the legal obligations that FinSight, as regulated by FINMA, is compelled to comply with when conducting business (LeFin, LsFin, AML). By concluding a contract with FinSight SA, clients explicitly agree and consent to the collection of personal data.
Personal data are kept throughout the duration of a mandate in force. Upon termination of a contract by one or both parties, personal data may be stored by the company for as long as it is legally required to do so.
FinSight mandates service providers (data center, CRM software, e-mails) which are geographically close to its offices in Switzerland. This ensures regular contacts and reviews of the technical and organizational architecture implemented to protect your personal data. As a group, we ensure that access to commercial or client data is pre-vetted by a strict “ Need to Know ” principle and subject to multi factor authentication.
You have the right to request information on personal data stored by the Company as well as request amendments should it be incorrect or obsolete. Moreover, you have the right to seek that such data be deleted unless it constitutes of breach of FinSight’s contractual and legal obligations.
You may lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority of the member state in which you reside (in Switzerland, the Préposé Fédéral à la Protection des Données et à la Transparence).
